About the author
I am a narrative designer and game writer; in the past, I was a professional journalist. For nearly ten years, I wrote theatre reviews and court reports – first in Siberia, then in Moscow. I enjoy making games far more.
As a writer, I strive for concise and aesthetically precise constructions. I am drawn to phantasmagoria, imagery, and irony, but I dislike being misunderstood – though from time to time, I do enjoy leading the reader astray.
In my view, creating fiction requires a kind of double immersion in reality. Any fantasy, no matter how bold, must be strengthened and enriched by personal experience. In this way, life transforms into literature, rather than literature merely imitating life.
For me, Litelyta is a source of invaluable expertise. One cannot become a good writer without reading others. One cannot make a text truly work without listening to how it resonates with an audience and with one’s fellow writers.
